What is IB education
IB is a board of education is recognized throughout the world. It was introduced by the International Baccalaureate Organization (IBO) in 1968. The organization is based on the Geneva, Switzerland. It is a combination of the three programs.
Phase I ‘PYP (Primary Years Program)
Phase II ‘MYP (Middle Years Program)
Phase III ‘DP (Diploma Program)
Primary Years Programme is for children under 5 class. Middle Years Programme for children from grade 6 to grade 10 and the Diploma Program is for children who are in grade 11 and grade 12.
IB education system is based on the real world of application-based. Tests conducted by the IB schools to test students’ knowledge and not for speed or memory.
Followed by body systems are also very different from the others. It may be surprising to know that there are no tests to students solving the Middle Years Program. School is focused on enabling students to understand the ‘how to learn’rather than ‘what to learn. ”
During the PYP and MYP, there is a specific course materials for each student will be completed. In the course of the DP, students can choose subjects of their choice from a variety of subjects.
